In the app or on the website

1. Sign in at nearlyfluent.com or open the app.
2. Go to Profile and scroll to Delete my account.
3. Choose a reason, tap Delete my account, then Yes, delete forever.

Your account is deleted straight away.

Without the app

Email hello@nearlyfluent.com from the email address you use for Nearly Fluent, with the subject "Delete my account". We delete it within 7 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

• Your profile: name, area, languages, bio, interests and photo.
• Your hellos, chats, voice messages, meet-up plans, levels and any tables you host.
• Your sign-in details and notification settings.

What we keep

• Reports you made about other members stay, without your name, so we can keep the community safe.
• Database backups are overwritten within 30 days.
